This is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association for those who are seeking an alternative to classroom-based training. Cognitive portions of the course are completed online prior to scheduling a brief hands-on portion of the course and includes skills practice and check-off. Skills Sessions are conducted in-person after a student completes Part 1 online.
Go to www.onlineAHA.org and take the BLS Provider Course (Heartcode BLS) Part 1. The AHA charges $28.50. When you have completed Part 1, email me to arrange your in person Skills Session; please include: your name, phone number, email, class taken (BLS or ACLS), date taken, certificate number, and a date and time you wish to do the Skills Session. After successful completion of Part 1 and the Skills Session, students will be issued the official AHA CPR Card. The Skills Session, including same day card is $30 and takes about 15 minutes. Skills Sessions are conducted Sundays through Fridays.
